Com pais brasileiros, mas nascida na Inglaterra, a banda de dupla cidadania, Brollies & Apples, formada pelos casais Rodrigo Brandão e Bianca Jhordão (da banda Leela) e Carol Teixeira (escritora/filósofa) e Fredi Chernobyl Endres (guitarra do Comunidade Nin-Jitsu e produtor do Bonde do Rolê). A banda começou a ser formada em 2008 quando Bianca e  Carol   se encontraram nos bastidores de uma premiação do canal infantil Nickelodeon onde apresentaram um prêmio. Desse encontro nasceu uma amizade e em janeiro de 2009, os dois casais finalmente se encontram. É nessa hora também que a banda tira seu passaporte inglês, num pub em Camden Town, numa conversa, certamente regada a muita Guinness, decidem juntar as forças num novo projeto musical. 

De volta ao Brasil, (Bianca & Rodrigo, em São Paulo, Carol e Chernobyl, em Porto Alegre) eles começam a fazer as músicas e trocar o material pela internet. Chegando a Porto Alegre, Carol escrevia as letras e metia um vocal, Chernobyl mandava nos sintetizadores, baterias e guitarras. De volta a São Paulo, Bianca fazia a voz e Rodrigo mandava ver na guitarra um som meio grunge, meio indie, enfim uma guitarra barulhenta e suja. E ficava nesse vai e vem até que os caras estivessem satisfeitos, então a edição e mixagem era toda feita pelo Chernobyl lá em POA.

Essa mistura de influências e a dinâmica da banda, com quatro cabeças pensantes, dão vida a um som moderno e universal. Um electro rock da melhor qualidade, que foge desse rock de fábrica, sem pegada e imaginação que nos atinge todos os dias. Um visual Punk Rock, com letras viciantes, porque, afinal, o rock evolui, não morre.
